What to Expect
We would love for you to come worship with us.
You may be wondering what to expect when you visit with us. From the moment you walk through the doors, we hope you feel welcomed by a group of people who genuinely love God and care about others. We want your visit to feel comfortable, relaxed, and encouraging. We are a casual dress church, so you'll see everything from jeans and t-shirts to dress shirts and dresses. Come as you are and sit anywhere you'd like. Our worship service lasts about an hour, and we would love the chance to meet you.
Here is what you'll see in our worship.
Singing
You may notice we sing without instruments. We believe singing with our voices only follows the example set for us in the New Testament. If you don't know the songs, that's fine — we project the words and music for everyone to see.
God doesn't care if you have any singing ability — it's the heart that matters.

We believe in the power of prayer. We offer several prayers during worship to thank God and to ask His help for our church family, community, country, and others.
If you have a prayer request, let us know and we will try to include it.

Another important part of our worship is the Lord's Supper, or communion. We do this every first day of the week. Jesus Himself established this memorial to remember His death on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins.
This is the focal point of our services as we worship the Lord together.

Our members give cheerfully to support the congregation and its ministries.
As a guest, you are welcome to give but not expected to.

We believe the Bible is God's inspired word, given so we can learn from it. Every Sunday the preacher gives a Bible-based sermon to encourage our spirits and inform our minds so we can be more like Jesus. You will notice we don't call our preacher "Father", "Pastor", or any other title, and he wears no special clothes that set him apart. We believe all Christians are a priesthood of believers, all called to share the good news, and all equal in our need for God's forgiveness.

At the end of every sermon, the preacher extends an invitation. God's word, when preached, should move our hearts. The invitation is a time for anyone who wants to be baptized, make a commitment, or ask for prayer to come forward. The preacher stands at the front of the auditorium, and one of our elders stands at the back to help with any needs. Several may respond, or none may.
